I've read varying reports about Root too, but haven't seen anything official yet about any of those. I really hope it's just internet bull shit.

Ok so Zemial is still on and Akitsa only dropped because their live lineup broke up. Still kinda shitty though. I really wanted to see Root.

Not sure, if this is technically "official," but got a response from Anastasis of Dead Congregation and he told me that their flights have not been booked and he has heard nothing from the promoter in over two weeks. He told me they were canceling. Who knows, maybe this will change, but Anastasis sounded firm with his decision.

If this is true, this is extremely disappointing. There are still great bands scheduled to play, but...

He said on the NWN board that they are indeed canceling. Same for Hour of 13 (who recently had Mr. Swanson rejoin their ranks...) -- all because the promoter can't be pissed to email bands with updates despite numerous requests.

Well that sucks. I was really looking forward to finally catching Hour of 13 live. 'The Ritualist' was/is an awesome album...

Maybe we could get them to either Atlanta or Athens sometime in the near future.

It looks like Zemial is canceling after all.
