Great show. Opeth were great, Nevermore were also great (anyone else notice the security guy at the stage-right backstage entrance leaving his post periodically to watch Jeff Loomis in disbelief? ), and Into Eternity were better than I were expecting from all the dire reports on the Net.
I was up front on the barricade, extreme stage-right. I was drumming along on the barricade so hard, especially during songs like "deliverance," that it took about a week for my hand to lose that weird tingly feeling of being bashed around too much. GREAT setlist choices, especially "Melinda" and "Blackwater Park."
