its a damn shame.....i was looking forward to seeing them
Exactly.
Let's have the guitars drown in the mix. Yeah, great job.

Wow, the crowd was huge. With Passion sucked ass because of those shitty vocals. Decapitated was bad ass but their sound sucked and too short damn it!! Raging SpeedCOCK sucked so much but they were funny and crowd was moving. Soilent Green kicked ass. Huge and brutal pit, NONSTOP!! Hypocrisy was overrated shit. Nile was good but their sound sucked ass and shitty set list. Other than that, good show.

I didn't like with passion at all.
I liked Decapitated a lot. I thought they were really good. Winds of Creation songs would have be awesome if they had played them.
Raging Speedhorn is the worst band ever. I hated everything about them.
I thought Soilent Green was pretty good. I hadn't listened to much of their stuff before hand. Not really my style but they were alright.

I liked Hypocrisy too. I think towards the end their set started to drag a little bit though. I did like them though.

I enjoyed Nile a lot actually. I may be the only one to say this. For the first 2 songs I was right in the middle at the front and the sound was shit. You couldn't hear anything. It pissed me off. But then I moved to the right in front of Joe in the 2nd row and the sound was much better. I must have been right in front of a monitor that had good sound or something. When I stood there I could hear each guitar and everything was really clear plus Dallas kept going over there too which was cool.

I thought it was a good show.

Yeah, it was as if whoever wound up on the left side of the stage when Nile was on magically had their instruments unplugged or something. The crushing opening part of "Annihilation of the Wicked" sounded like complete ass, as well as pretty much any crushing part in any of the songs.

Hypocrisy and Soilent Green were both awesome though. I was very pleased to hear Impotent God in all its start/stop glory.

p.s. Will I hope you finally found a fridge to sit in!

Raging Homosexual sucked...........no pun intended.
Soilent Green kicked anus.
Hypocracy fuckin overrated.
I was pretty close-up during the nile set so that fuckin ruled, but sucked ass for everyone else behind me. im not sure if it was was worth the $20, but it was all right! :D

Soilent Green were fucking awesome.
Hypocrisy was really good.
The Nile songs I knew were really good. The others were blurs of noise.

They played serpent headed mask.

I was in the very middle up close in the second row. I was next to Neal for most of their set, he got some good pictures. I thought Nile had quite a bit of trouble getting Dallas into the mix, thats why I thought The Blessed Dead and Execration Text were weak and so was Sacrifice unto sebek. I enjoyed it though, They finally brought Karl up at the end. You guys also have to remember, when you are droning your low two strings and playing leads at the same time the leads are going to be weak or watered down, especially if your guitar is tuned down to A.

I thought Decapitated had its ups and downs, they really got the crowd going, but at the same time, I thought their guitarist's playing sounded really sloppy. But again I was way up in the front so I really dont have an idea of the actual mix. Decapitated's drummer was awesome, They just played alot of shitty songs, Spheres of Madness was the only thing close to appropriate for their set. I would have chosen their set off Winds of Creation only and maybe The Fury or Three Dimensional Defect.

I didnt like with passion, their singer just made it suck. It was cool that they could get into their music though.

Raging speedhorn had no buisness on this tour. Period.

Soilent Green had a good live presence, Hey metalfreak! I think I punched you in the ass when you went crowd surfing over me!

Hypocrisy got the crowd into it but their set got so boring, all the songs sounded the same and began to drag.

All in all Im glad I got to see Nile again because seeing them play regardless of the mix is better than sitting at home. But to support Blaze, I have seen so many bands get horrible mixes in Heaven and the masq in general it isnt even funny. I dont know if Nile or anyone else actually cares about it, I think they just trust the sound guys to do their job.

yeah I wanted to hear Unas also! that's my favorite Nile song so far.

I arrived after Decapitated played and I was pissed! I didn't expect them to play so early! oh well...hopefully I'll see them next time they come around. I liked Soilent Green...I thought they were good. Hypocrisy was good too...I wanted to hear Pleasure of Molestation and Blooddrenched (off the new album) dammit! overall it was a good show I think.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

They also played Nihility and the new songs don't sound bad at all.

I was also disappointed that Nile didn't play much from the Catacombs album.

I was disappointed to miss Decapitated but from what I heard from the parking lot, I'm not sorry I missed Raging Speedhorn. The last time I saw Solient Green was in Milwaukee @ the Metalfest I think in 98 or 99. Some line-up changes, but I thought they sounded damn good. Hypocrisy were most excellent to these ears. Good diverse set list and great sound. I really enjoyed seeing the newest Nile material live, as you could see just how much they trade off different parts so damn fast, musically and vocally. I was extremely confused by the mighty wall of Marshalls and then realizing Hypocrisy was about a hundred times louder and more distinct. The first two or three songs, it seemed really hard to hear anything but the drums and the bass over this white noise, but after a bit it got better. That was the ninth time I've seen Nile, and I think this line-up seems more like the old vibe of the past (Chief Spires, Pete Hammoura-era) than any other incarnation. Hails to Wil from AxDx.
