The Absence and Demiricous dropped off the tour. I was really interested in Skeletonwitch and they didn't disappoint. Dying Fetus was good, but we left early. Decent show I guess, but I was really pissed about The Absence.
i was actually quite pleased about all the cancellations, cuz fetus played an extra long set with some nice old songs, was nice until a few fights broke out, one of em which i tried to break up and ended up getting punched anyways.... oh well... good show anyways. see you fucks at immolation

your church was turned into an abortion clinic and we use it all the time... sluts!!!

That was a weird show. I was discombobulated the entire time. But I did enjoy it.
I didn't have tickets before hand and had to wait with all the kids that wanted to see Chiodos and Emery. Which was fine, but Hell's doors opened at 6:30 and I could hear a band playing inside.
I saw at least two bloody mouths and one really messed up ankle from the pit. Plus a fight, literally at my feet, as I was sitting on top of the cabinets or whatever by the soundboard.
I was completely suprised to see Withered. The last time that I saw them was at Swayze's with Grave and Dismembered.
Skeleton Witch was a lot of fun. I got the chance to chat a bit with one of the guitar players after their set. Apparently, Demiricous' manager screwed them over and they made the decision to leave the tour because they didn't have any money. After three days of nothing to eat.
I didn't know Dying Fetus before this show, but goddamn their drummer is a machine.
A good show, although a little weird. Although Dying Fetus played an extended set, the entire thing was over by 10:30 or so. Strange.

the show was awesome! Withered always puts on a great set. And holy mother fuck, Skeletonwitch totally blew me away! I may have to agree with Brian on this one! And ofcourse Dying Fetus was great...ever since they got rid of their old vocalist!
and that sucks about Demericous. I'm not the biggest fan of theirs but a situation like theirs always sucks.

They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
Dying Fetus fucking owned me, they played damn near all my favorite album (Destroy the Opposition) and that long set was awesome because I also got there just before they went on... I was pissed I missed Skeleton Witch and Withered, but I'm sure that was great.Matt wrote:Brian wrote:Talk about a failure

I saw this guy get arrested after the show, I was outside talking to MS-39455 and the cops came out with this guy and handcuffed him but he fought and when they couldn't subdue him they pepper sprayed him, then they had to get EMS out there. And all the little emo kids were giving him a wide berth, while all the metal people just watched hehe... even the Dying Fetus guys were standing around watching. Poor guy, what a way to get attention, and I bet he was fucking miserable the next day.

Yeah, kind of a weird evening, but a whole lot of fun. Metal, brawling in the pit, and the long arm of the law. Personally, I loved it. The extra long Dying Fetus set was killer. Skeletonwitch was really great and Withered, as always, was way cool. I came in as Withered began, so I missed whoever was before. Great show even with the cancellations.
Sorry I missed you, Knucklehead. I didn't see your next post 'till after the show. I guess it doesn't make much difference since it was in hell anyway.
I was standing 20 feet from the guy that got the full blast of pepper spray in the face and even I had trouble breathing. I'm not quite sure what that was all about. I only saw the cop taking some trash talk before the mace came out.

I didnt go to this show, but the way everybody is talking it's making me think of when Dying Fetus played the Hangar September of 2000. 2 big brawls broke out during the show and one of them ended up going outside. I'm not sure totally what happened after that, but when the show ended there were police and firetrucks outside the club. From what I hear some neo-nazis (there were a ton of them there) beat the shit out of some guy outside.
However, DF came back a few months later to the 513 club and everybody was totally chill and a good time was had by all.
