Well I'm glad you have taken such an interest in what I listen to. It's also awesome that you also found a picture to accompany that gem there.egg yolkeo wrote:ya you better go throw in some T.I.-Paper Trail cause thats some interesting stufftheRothstanator wrote:Yeah I am basically a douchebag. I dont get it first you stand up for them and make some sense then you go and make a stupid statment like that.
Fuck paper trail
Sorry bro, didn't know I was limited to only listening to one or the other. Next time I decide that it's ok for me to like two artists, I'll run it by you first.egg yolkeo wrote:ya ok buddy go host a hip hop station then.Brian wrote:Paper Trail is better than most Meshuggah discs. Yes, easily my favorite album of theirs. I'm a big Meshuggah fan, and that album is their best effort, in my opinion. It just fucking crushes from start to finish. Tomas' drumming on the album is absolutely ridiculous.ratanda wrote:Shit, where you been, son? I like all of their stuff to some degree. DEI was my all time favorite until they put out "I." Which is just amazing. Obzen kicks massive amounts of ass as well.Vhyle wrote:Yes, easily my favorite album of theirs. I'm a big Meshuggah fan, and that album is their best effort, in my opinion. The only thing I don't like about them is that their vox can be very monotonous. I like a lot of what he does, but I can see why it would keep a lot of people from liking them.

I really dont care what you or anyone else listens to, but when you say they havnt made anything remotely interesting since 98 and Brian says that paper trail is somehow better than contradictions collapse/none,destroy erase improve, chaosphere, nothing,I,catch 33,obzen (wtf!) especially on a metal forum I feel the need to stand up for one of the most incredible and influential bands in metal.theRothstanator wrote:Yeah it's totally RIDICULOUS that someone that hosts a metal SHOW would listen to anything but metal. Also, T.I. was caught with a bunch of unregistered weapons and he will be serving a year in jail in 2009 for that. He hasn't murdered anyone.
But hey if u want to listen to TI instead of meshuggah and other people want to diss them for whatever reason thats just your loss.
Or maybe...I can just listen to both???egg yolkeo wrote:I really dont care what you or anyone else listens to, but when you say they havnt made anything remotely interesting since 98 and Brian says that paper trail is somehow better than contradictions collapse/none,destroy erase improve, chaosphere, nothing,I,catch 33,obzen (wtf!) especially on a metal forum I feel the need to stand up for one of the most incredible and influential bands in metal.theRothstanator wrote:Yeah it's totally RIDICULOUS that someone that hosts a metal SHOW would listen to anything but metal. Human and Symbolic are much better than anything Meshuggah has ever put out. I guess that just because Death was a great band automatically means that Meshuggah sucks donkey dick.
And just because this is a metal forum doesn't mean I only have to exclusively listen to metal. Half the reason I got started at WREK in the first place is because I have somewhat eclectic taste. And eclectic doesn't mean "hey dude I listen to black, death, AND doom metal!!!"
just out of curiosity when did the metal community start giving a fuck about someone having guns or being arrested or for that matter killing someone.
am i the only one who sees the irony in this or is just indicative of some sortof cultural pussification?
this would be directed towards me....
i just hate how rappers do fucked up shit and then glorify themselves on record, then on top of that..make money from it. really, i just hate rap.
since when does anyone in the "metal community" give a fuck about what someone else thinks period? thats just not kvlt and brootal dude.
