Dude! I can't believe I missed Paramore for Type O Negative. I feel like such a fag now.
Seriously though, Type O Negative ruled. The guy who told me they would suck was a total moron. I thought the only thing that was kind of lame was the fact that he was reading the lyrics from a book and that he dedicated one song to Dimebag Darrell, because a song hasn't been dedicated 1018314 times before to the guy, lol. That one guy who was moshing like a moron and thought that moshing also meant you had to dance was getting on my nerves. They played my favorite song perfectly.

You looked pretty fucked up bro, but as long as you had a good time.

It was a great show.
Gene, which one was your favorite song? I didn't see ya there, BTW.
Having Peter read from lyrics sheets is infinitely better than having him forget lyrics, which he's done in the past. (And frankly, I don't care if a singer needs some help with lyrics, lord knows I couldn't do it all from memory if it was me, and I've seen some outstanding talents use lyrics sheets before.)
They played at least three songs from October Rust, and since that's one of my favorite CDs of all time, that made me very happy. In a sad way. Or something.
I was a little surprised we didn't get "Kill All the White People" or one of the other thrashier cuts from Bloody Kisses, but oh well.
All in all, an excellent show.

Ozzy and Hetfield use Teleprompters.Metalfreak wrote:wow I can't say I've ever seen anyone use cheat sheets. I think I'd rather see that than have him fuck up the lyrics though
Tom Araya has said in an interview that he fucks up all the time and then just grins at the crowd wondering if anyone noticed.
As far as Type O goes, I keep hoping that one of these days they're going to play a Carnivore track at a show (again). Hopefully I'll be there if they do.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!
