Thanks for reposting with dates.
No problem.

I flew to Houston last year for the show (was on the same flight as Shane!!) and it was incredible. But it was also the Somewhere Back in Time setlist which was almost all songs from Live After Death with songs from Somewhere In Time and Seventh Son thrown in (I think Fear of The Dark too...?)

If I can find out what the setlist is this time I might make the trek to one of those weekend shows.

yeah...the show in Houston was worth every bit of the grand(was in dutch with the wife) it cost me when it was all said and done. If we have our own place by then, might have a place to crash for a couple folks.

If you guys are changing your minds about DC and going to Houston I can't do that. I have to think of my sister's wedding. So I guess I will be flying in now.

Okay, some of these sponsorship deals are just getting silly.

Wed 09 - Dallas, TX - Superpages.com Center
ummm....sure to be a big hit with Congress......
Mon 14 - Denver, CO - Comfort Dental Amphitheatre
This venue is clearly an oxymoron, plain and simple.
Thu 17 - Phoenix, AZ - Cricket Wireless Pavilion
"Well, it was the quietest show on the whole tour! It was so soft, we could hear..... Well, yeah."
Sun 20 - Concord, CA - Sleep Train Pavilion
"The show was going well until the engineer fell asleep and ran the train into the parking lot...."
Sat 26 - Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place
Bonus: quicker access to drugzz.....
Sat 03 - Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre
NOW we're talkin'! In Canada, too. Who'd'a thunk it?
Tue 20 - Washington D.C. - Jiffy Lube Live
This performance will be part concert, part burlesque review.
Omfg! That shit was funny as hell paul! Funny & great observations!!!

I drove out to New Jersey and San Antonio to see Maiden. And it looks like i'll be driving to San Antonio again! I met Janick Gers at an Irish Bar there. He's awesome. I was shaking the whole time i talked to him.

Gonna fly to San Antonio for this one. Some friends are gonna catch Primal Fear the next night in Austin - think I'll tag along for that as well.

Why are "NO ATLANTA DATE" concerts being posted in a section detailing ATLANTA DATE concerts? :x

I haven't seen Maiden since the Powerslave Tour and no way I'm driving or flying to see them now when they could easily fill Philips Arena or Gwinnett.

I have to admit, I also last saw Iron Maiden in June of 1985 on the Powerslave tour, and am not inclined to travel to see them again.

I flew to London to see them once, only to find out they were playing the whole album beginning to end and 5 other songs. I got to their set over half way through and caught 2 new songs and the good ones. It was worth it, but what a stupid idea playing all new songs they admitted no one wanted to hear.
