Were you wearing a Crowbar shirt?
Yeah, it was odd how much Phil talked and how little Mike did. Listening to Mike's banter was the highlight of the EHG show. Dude was funny as fuck.
Warbeast was a trip. I liked them a lot more live than recorded, but what a look that band has...I'm convinced that the blonde guitar player is so obsessed with getting into Mano
war that he put "war" in his band's name. What guitar faces that dude makes...

That's funny I thought the same thing about that dude wanting to be in Manowar. I had a great time, fun show.
See you in Hell!

looking at the Youtube vids of AA I never saw Phil with a mic, so naturally I was relieved that he wouldn't have on last night. but alas, this was not so. he looked pretty wasted as well.
Warbeast was prolly the most entertaining with their metal fasion, wanky guitar solos, and dude on bass looked like he came straight out of the Munsters or something. But what was up with the Dimebag guitars?

I thought he was the guy who works at Kroger on that "special people's program" they use to get tax breaks and I always hope won't end up bagging my bread and bananas under my sixer and milk.

Loaners from Phil? Cross endorsement deal? Stealing "street cred?" Plain ol' tackiness? Or Phil "name-dropping" Dime yet again? Some combination of all of the above is my guess. And I don't hate Phil. I think dude has been really funny and in several recent interviews. He used to irk me to no end.

seriously. I was probably at that same show you were at and it was annoying. Just play some good tunes!

I usually have no problem with them but a few months ago, I had a reusable bag and everything I had could easily fit into it...I said I wanted everything in it and the cashier had to eventually bag it (I would have done it but I didn't want to just grab it). Anyways, a kid started crying somewhere in the store. The retarded guy was in the middle of a maniacal laugh, hears the crying and says "I hear a kid crying and that isn't funny" at the top of his lungs. The way he said it was so freakin funny

They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I didn't want to think that this was the case but I'm almost sure now that one or all of those answers is correct. Those guitars were brand spanking new, and the camo one with the word "TRENDKILL" going across it was just too much.

if it was when they came with zeke and played in heaven at masq then yep.
zeke needs to come back but i doubt it'll happen. when toxic holocaust came a while back donny paycheck was playing drums for them and i asked him what was up and he basically said the other dudes weren't interested in touring anymore. lame. i'm glad i got to see them before jeff matz left to do high on fire full time. not that anyone else cares though haha, zeke is pretty much the best band no one's heard of. the husseins had some very zeke-esque parts in their set the other night at jack's and when i told them i dug it and that some of their shit reminded me of zeke their response was "who?"

Did you see the back of it when dude flipped it around at the end? It had an airbrush portrait of Dime complete with pink ball warmer.
Zeke is going out on tour with Antiseen. No ATL date.

Nah I was wearing a black zip up hoodie over my work clothes.
I thought Warbeast were alright. I would have liked them better if they took themselves less seriously and if their songs were shorter. It's like, we get the point, that riff would more impact if you didn't drag it out so long!
