What the hell is metal doing now anyway? What the fuck is New - Metal? If an artist releases a CD and it sounds like old unevolved crap its still new metal because they are a NEW artist. You are all fighting like a buch of uneducted middle schoolers, if you like it listen if you don't like it DONT listen, It's as simple as that.
It's people like this that ARE the PROBLEM in metal today. YOU are turning metal into a clone of the RAP industry, instead of eastside westside it's thrash metal vs. Grindcore or old ass metal vs. New-metal (I really don't pay attention to genre or the terms so, sorry fellas if I got those wrong. I am sure you will catch it and comment on it later though, right?)
It is really quite sad and I am sick of this and the whole frame of mind.
I like alot of bands in the ATL. I like Burial Rites but I also like Armani Death Machine. I like Palace of the Fallen AND I like Groove stain the point is if you havent got it by now is fuck Genres/labels and I have no respect for you if that is how you pick your music

Dude. It's like this in every scene. It's how human beings are. And i think most of the people bitching about Level aren't doing it based on genre. They have actually listened to them and decided its not for them.
The issue is to not turn Concert and Band threads into this ridiculousness. Start a topic in the General forum about your arguments.

if its not about genre why was the first thing out of your mouth nu metal? instead of saying "level isnt for me" you said " no one gives a shit " and "nu-metal sucks " what makes nu metal? the sheer fact that you dont like it? atlanta has the worst fucking scene ive even seen. and because dumb fucks like you and kshitrya. i was at that level show and as soon as they were done burial rights went on. (everybody left ) i like burial rights so i stayed. i dont like what " genre" they are in but i like the music. i guess they are nu- metal because your not attached to their ass. this forum sucks because of dicks like you all. bob has it right let the bands sell themselves. no one gives a rats ass about mikes top ten. no one knows who the fuck mike is. this forum is supposed to help bands in atlanta but its really just a sight were a bunch of dumb fucks can push the dinosaur opinions on people. good job mike and kshitrya for helping burn the little bit of scene atlanta has left to the ground. congratulations.

Yeah man you suck because you dont only listen to metal. Why would you think that everyone here ONLY listens to metal? My favorite type of music is classical so it doesnt really matter what you listen to. It was about saying a band plays unquality metal (not trying to stir up an argument) and that is it.

If LeveL is not a quality band then why did the crowd go the fuck off at their CD release party? Why did they almost sell out of CD's? Why did over half the crowd have on LeveL shirts? That does not sound like how the crowd would react to a low quality metal act. But you wouldn't know about any of that, you were sitting at home thinking of ways to hate on success.

Everyone has their opinions, Not everyone can like or appreciate the same style of music you do razor, coming on here and trying to debate about why or where people should make comments about music is retarted. Bands grow from input, they make a record, some people like it others are dissapointed, the dissapointed ones leave their comments and the band takes that with them into the studio the next time to try and add to their sound or add to their act. I Agree it is good to support all bands regardless unless they have been complete assholes before, but Im not coming in here and jumping up everyones ass for saying their piece about a band. Bottom line is, Not everyone is going to dig every record so people saying stuff about level I think is good, Im not saying level has to be abosolute tools to this forum but if no one ever said anything bad about them they would keep making the same style of music (to an extent) and the same people that hated them before would hate them after each and every release.

And by the way, no one has pissed on the ATL metal scene by not going to LeveL shows or not supporting them, there are alot more bands in Atlanta that make up this scene besides this one Nu-metal act who you seem to like.

Most diehard black/death metal fans won't like level...most level fans won't like demoncy. Thats how it is and that's fine. Things are kinda seperate..and it's probably for the best.

I must say I do have some respect for the Level guys for not really getting into this.

Before you start flipping shit on people, i'd like for you to tell me when and where i insulted and said anything about Level. The only thing i bitched about were candy apples.
Unless you mean MATT who has a well-known dislike of Level.

You are missing the point that you can't force everyone else to like the stuff you like and vice versa. People like you continuing to raise a stink to defend bands you like are 50% of the problem, people going out of their way to trash bands they don't like are the other 50%.

I agree, people talk shit on boards and its not ment to be taken seriously. But I dont really see it as a big deal just because its on a message board, no one is going to shows yelling shit th bands during their, though im sure matt would, and I think metal shouldnt be one big thing because its such a diverse genre and like Will said most diehard black/death metal fans won't like leve and most level fans won't like black/death metal and it is probably for the best.
