I'll be at WREKage -- although probably not for toooooo long, if I want to get to the fest at all -- but I've gotta drive by after leaving the station and see what's up, who's waiting there already, and what the deal is with the roof/tent construction (?) in back.

Yeah one of my friends got tickets to that for Christmas. He freaked out when he found out the Scion thing was the same day. And those fucking tickets were expensive as shit.

Maybe I am undercalling it, but I don't expect people to really start showing up until 11:00 or so.

i'm not planning on showing up until noon or later. i could be totally wrong but i'm betting that there won't be a problem getting in at that time.

all day fests are brutal as hell, even when they are full of great bands. i've been too quite a few all day events and i'm usually over it and done by 9 o'clock. i'm not going to get there at 6am and then try to make it until 11 or midnight. i'd be burnt out and ready to leave by 4 or 5 o'clock.

i'll take my chances at noon and if i'm denied entry i'll just have to find something else to do.

Yeah they are.

I can't go to the Scion thing because I'm in charge of the ticketing for the Opera and that's opening night for this one. I'm seriously pissed, but since going to awesome metal shows doesn't pay my bills it wasn't really an option.

Oh, and if anyone has an extra ticket they want to sell, let me know. The guy who bought mine is looking for another one.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Rain. I imagine that is going to cut down on the number of people standing in line.

I can't wait to hear how this all went down. I'm feeble in my old age and just don't have the will to make it through an all-day fest -- in the rain, to boot.

You bastards have fun, and let us shut-ins know what it was like. I want to hear of riots and pillaging!
