I thought Withered was awesome, its a shame they didnt get that great of crowd activity. That song "Like Locusts" is really cool.
Grave had a great crowd response and it was awesome being there for them when they played.
Vital Remains was nuts, I was in the front row and I couldnt walk straight after they were done due to windmill overdose! Lol, Dechristianize ruled, along with Infidel and some of the other old and new tracks they played.
I stayed for a little bit of Dismember but then I left, I needed a slush puppie in order to sustain my existence.

Word! That show was the best show I've been to all year, with the possible exception of Emperor. Holy crap, but those Swedes make great subjects for video! Withered was awesome as well... as I told 'em on their myspace page, they ought to be touring with Goatwhore. Man, that would fucking rule! I cannot WAIT to see this footage. Every one of those bands is getting at least one copy though before anyone else gets to see it.
And yeah, I'm still blushng like a schoolgirl at all the flirting Dismember did heh. Charmers! No, I take that back, they're death metal... hmmm....

Hey, yeah I think I remember you, but everything is a big blur right now. I do remember seeing that Obituary shirt.
You must be the one that was next to me when the guitarist came out and put his arm around me and started thrashing his hair around heh.
Well, I had just enough space on two tapes to get the whole show except for having to switch out batteries twice. Then like a moron, I walked out and left my battery charger and the battery that was in it, so I have to go back down there sometime this afternoon to pick it up.

Swayze's
I made it to show last night with a buddy. That was my first time at Swayze's and I have to say that it was pretty cool. The lack of a liquor license gives it charm, I think. And it certainly is a hell of a lot cheaper than dropping $5 every time you want a brew.
I'm just getting back into metal after a number of years away, and I have to say that I was almost overwhelmed last night. All Metal, all night. Good god.

Vital Remains absolutely slayed. I wasn't really sure what to expect since their songs are longer than most other bands similar to them. But they were never boring at all; Anthony had so much energy.
I thought Grave played a great set too. The sludgy parts were really intense. Withered played a strong set. And yeah, they should be touring with Goatwhore.

I have to admit that I was a little bit dissapointed when I first heard that Glenn Benton probably wasn't going to be with Vital Remains this time. It took maybe thirty seconds of their set to make me quickly forget all about Mr. Benton, though. Wicked pummeling! There wasn't one band last night that I didn't enjoy seeing. All metal all night indeed!
