More like because you are a stupid retard that can't follow directions to drive yourself.

I had a quite of bit of fun at this. I got to hang out with a few killer people. Share a few booze with people who were nice enough to hand a minor booze :P. Unfortunately, I only got to see Malefic, but they were pretty decent. I will be trying to go to more local shows if I have the money.

Hey guys, this was the first local show I've been to in a while. Had a blast, met a lot of great people, and it sounds like we raised some decent money for Leslie. The bands that played kicked ass as well.

The question that everyone asked me was if I was on the metal forum. So I decided to make an account. I'm David, I play in a band with Kyle (aka Asrynth) called Deceit.

I'm sure he was there somewhere, trying to summon Satan. The show wasn't black metal enough, I'm afraid.

What's up David? Glad to see you made it to these parts.

First show that I've made it out to since Scion. I wasn't even certain that I would make it, but made it the last minute decision to go.

Highlights for me:

(1) Leslie announcing that she is in remission -- I don't know her, but it is always good to hear that someone has been able to kick The Scythed One in the nuts and walk away.

(2) Malefic -- great set.

(3) A mysterious door opened during the last set and some dude came bursting in from the adjacent storefront, complaining about the music. *At 1:00 a.m.* He left after some people suggested adjusting the sound levels. And then Tommy suggesting, "why don't you do what you want?" none too quietly.

Not a highlight: Waking up at 7:30 because my daughter is "requesting" that I make pancakes.

Agreed -- I've only been hanging out here for three years. Maybe I should get on that a little more...

HA! Congratulations. Eventually you'll probably all have one.

Definitely great news about the remission.

I acually just finished mixing what i recorded at the benefit show.

BUT

unfortunetly I had to leave before Eridian played so i wasn't able to record them as well which i hate that I wasn't able too....... I have a 9 month old kid and couldn't leave him at my parents house for the night...... I am sorry I wasn't able to get them as well.....

If anyone is interested in getting this 2 disc Show you can PM me about getting one. I don't have a site to put the music up on for ppl to download yet but I'm sure i can send the files or give the 2 disc show to you in hand next time i see you. Just let me know if anyone needs one!!!!! Of course the bands who played will all get 1 at least. Thanks for an awesome night of kicking the shit out of cancer!!!!!
