Yeah, see, I don't care about anything before #13. Of course, tonight will be the night that they play Show No Mercy straight through.

@Knuck- damn that would rule!

Well, the show was pretty damn good! I've never seen Anthrax before so that was really cool. They played here in 2003 but I couldn't afford it at the time. Besides tonight I don't think they played since then but I could be wrong.

Megadeth was good too. 2nd time seeing them this year! Awesomeness.

Slayer was good too. I was gettin kinda bored then they started up with South of Heaven and I perked right up! I think that was my 8th time seein them.

I saw a few folks from here, hung out with Jake and Olga for most of the night. Good times!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Amazing show, well worth the $60. But next time, Megadeth better not play through any one album.

Good show. I missed Anthrax, and I can't believe I'm saying this but Megadeth was probably my favorite of the night. I was a Megadeth hater for a long time but recently I got Rust In Peace at Wal-Mart for $6 and it ruled seeing the album live, and they played some older stuff also. Slayer was good for like, 4 songs, it was a huge reminder of the Maiden set I saw in Houston. Old bands should play shit that rules, not new albums (unless the new album rules). Awesome chillin' Amanda.

as I said on FB, except with one minor correction: Well, back from the best night. Anthrax: kept it REAL Thrashing. Great Set List ever! Megadeth: Wonderful! Sweet Vic Rattlehead decided to join Dave on the tour. Slayer: DESTROYED! And fully satisfied for they played at least one true classic: Haunting The Chapel's "Aggressive Perfector"!

Anthrax seriously had the best set list I ever could have imagined. It was strictly awesome shit off of Among the Living and Spreading the Disease, with the exception of a rare performance of "Metal Thrashing Mad" from the Neil Turbin era. They were amazing. The setlist said they were planning on playing "Only" which is a song they did without Joey Belladonna, but on the setlist it was crossed out in favor of A.I.R.
I love Anthrax. Love them. They were the band I was the most excited to see and they did not disappoint. I snagged myself a t shirt. Expensive but worth it.

Megadeth was incredible. They pulled off Rust in Peace with great style, my favorite parts were Holy Wars/The Punishment Due and an eerie appearance by Vic Rattlehead during dawn patrol, right in to Rust In Peace/Polaris. Amazing. What a show! After the album was finished they played In God we Trust, A Toute le Monde, Symphony of Destruction, Headcrusher, and Peace Sells, and then went back into the last solo section of Holy Wars for a grand finish. What a show! Definitely the best performance of the night.

Slayer came on and played a bunch of new stuff that was boring and just stood there headbanging. fucking boring. I left half way through. seriously, Kerry King is a fucking dork and their stage presence is awful. If anyone liked this performance I wouldn't be able to tell you why, they just stood there. boring.

All in all, an amazing show. Well worth the money and I'll never forget how awesome it was, or how rad it was to get a high five from Joey Belladonna

Tom Araya had a good excuse for just standing there.

Health reasons, for years of doing very aggressive head banging has caught up to him with really bad back problems. Plus the surgery he had months backs. Sucks he cannot do it anymore.

Great event, i just hated half of the crowd. For some are "I refuse to grow up, let stir shit up. Fuckin' SLAAAAAAAAAYYYYEEEERRRR!!!!" type of people and douche bags. I saw three fights. First fight, one guy, while fighting the other, thought he could take on the Stage Goon. One dude got hurt from the second fight, for he got whacked in the back of his head. and then, he is pummeled suddenly by this dude I saw earlier during anthrax when he tried to get in front of me (maybe because he REALLY wanted to be on the front row). Resulting in being unconscious.

Slayer is to be taken VERY SERIOUS. If you fuck with Slayer you will DIE. When the end of the world happens Slayer will the unholy angels leading the way to the unholy crusade to Slayerdom. In the mean time, the unworthy mainstream pussies will die by the hands of Slayer's faithful Hottopic worshipers, the juggernaut Tapout military squad, and the ball stomping German clones.
