You can't criticize one tiny thing on this forum or the ATL hardcore forum about DIY shows. It's all or nothing. You gotta support it 100% and think they're the greatest thing in the world or be bashed for life and told not to come. Just ignore all the concerns and say fuck you to anyone that brings up the smallest issue.

What a great way to have people come out.

can't you request off? You'll have advance notice and if not, call in sick. THIS CANNOT BE MISSED

@AtlMel - there were a few shows that were double booked and therefore cancelled so I think that's why a few people here are skeptical. I guess there were a few other things that happened too but it didn't effect me. Also, I've seen Matt at the Archive before...he does support the scene when he doesn't have to work. And I know you support the scene by putting on shows and helping wherever help is needed. I don't think many of us have been to the Archive in a few months probably because there haven't been any metal shows there to go to so most of us haven't seen the changes made since August that you speak of. I'm glad changes have been made though and I trust that you say they are good changes. All I know is FUCKING OBITUARY IS COMING!!!!!!! Let's all have a good time and get drunk while watching Obituary and leave this nonsense behind 8)

Wondering if there will be a decent PA for Obituary does not equal complaining.

Have you guys seen the other places Obituary is playing on this tour? It's kind of weird, they are back to playing bars and restaurants and stuff. Places that are similar to The Local up in Marietta. Did they fall off in popularity recently or something?

We played Brass Mug last time we were in Tampa and it's not even as big as Archive... like not even close. Maybe they're just making sure the shows will be packed and rad instead of playing some huge venues that are only half full... either way, I'm glad. I'd much rather see bands in a small setting than some big stupid venue. Soooooo glad this isn't at Masquerade.
