Show last night was fun. Decent turnout but could have been a lot better, Mexican Metal Crew was in full effect though. Wormrot ripped. Super nice guys. Phobia was surprisingly crushing. Waaaaay sicker than last time I saw them at DU. They definitely still "got it."
Met some folks from the board i hadn't met before which was sweet. Was definitely standing next to Gamefreac during Phobia and made a mental note to say hey after their set but didn't see you again so maybe next time.
Also found out and interesting fact about Singapore. Asked the Wormrot dudes if they smoked weed and the singer basically said that while they would love to they have random drug tests in Singapore... like any citizen, any time... and that if you get caught with it in your system you go to jail for like 2 years. Brutal.

Ha it's cool man.
I knew the turnout wasn't gonna be as DJ Pestilence was expecting but I thought it would be better. I could of sworn some people were just sitting outside the whole time. There was definitely more people inside for Wormrot than Phobia.
Spewtilator was good...never saw them before.
Wormrot was the best of the night definitely.
Maruta was OK but the feedback in between songs was unbearable so I sat outside for most of their set.
Phobia was better this time than the Drunken Unicorn show but I think the energy could have been better with more than 2 rows of people.
Really good show though...I had fun.

Damn, that is a really harsh law. Now I have to look into that. It makes you appreciate the bullshit laws we have a little more.

yea i do vocals. i grabbed the one dude in the sleeveless repulsion shirt and told him how much i liked them and his response was simply "OOOOLDSCHOOOOOL" while shaking his fist. mexican dudes that love metal are pretty much the best metalheads ever.
Wormrot had the best energy for sure, i think a lot of people were just really pumped that they came to the US. Phobia was rad but their singer always seems like some new york guido asshole to me. i don't really dig maruta's style of grind... to much breakdown type stuff.
Heres a link to download our first tape plus a rough track that we never play anymore. You can find the tape around if you want a physical copy, there's a couple distros with 1 or 2... i think we still have one in the merch box actually.

yeah seriously!
In most other countries, their laws and/ or jail systems are alot more brutal than ours. Makes me glad I live here \m/

I can see why people think that but, Shane has always been nice and friendly to me in the handful of times I've met him.
See you in Hell!

Great show Saturday night. It seemed like Wormrot's crowd came out of nowhere and disappeared again. And yeah, Shane was pretty cool the few times I've talked to him.

Eh, fuck that. He totally seems like a greedy asshole. Shoulda seen the slobber drooling from his lip when Floyd gave him what was probably all the door money.
