Anyone going to see this on Friday?

I like High on Fire's older shit, really didn't like the new one as much, but I'm an old school Sleep fan. If High on Fire plays 10,000 years, I'll be happy.

Goatwhore is alright too. I heard they got the opening slot on the Emperor shows this summer in NYC.

And I agree, their new shit sounds too much like meth-charged Motorhead for me to get into. The first album is a classic.

Maybe Matt Pike will show up at El Myr like he did after their last show. NAMEDROP!

I love the new album. I believe Watchmaker is also on this show.

Sadly I'm still broke so I doubt I'll make it, at least I got to see HoF when they rolled through Athens.
