Prime Mover; Friday 4/27

Post by Strange » Wed April 25th, 2007, 12:43 pm

We're playing this Friday at Breakers as part of a showcase for Project Independent. Basically it is a battle of the bands, but it seems to be more Metal oriented and they arent being all "Emergenza" or "Bodog" about it so there we are.

Not sure the exact lineup but the bands playing are as follows:

Prime Mover
Left Hook
9th Corner
Vertically Challenged
Code Atom
Purity

I know there's not a lot of love for Breakers around these parts, but come on down if you want. Also, for those who've missed my post in the "Bands" section, we've posted our entire demo on our myspace so if you don't already have it, check it out. And if you do...you're welcome to leave your comments on it as well. Love it...Hate it...We wanna hear it.

Out of all of them, I've only heard Left Hook. I like what they do. Kinda Crowbar/Down-ish but not quite as depressed. They're our friends and we play a bunch of shows with 'em, so this is kind of a friendly competition thing between us and them. Purity is the band that won this deal last year so this is actually a stop on their tour.

You know me. I just spread the word, throw down a couple shots and do my thing... Thanks mucho for the support!

Thanks much!

Once the online voting starts in June, I'll hit you guys up to vote for us. If we win, we get an 18 show (supposedly paid) US tour out of the deal.

If not...hey, at least we're featured on a compilation disc and we get some free publicity out of it.
