They claim to be from Athens but I've seen them listed in Flagpole maybe once and I had to miss that show.

the drummer (Shawn Benson) and guitarist & founder Matt Smith are from the Athens area. The second guitarist Jon Hinds is from the Marietta area. And the latest member, Patrick Parris on bass (my son) is from the Hiram/Dallas/Douglasville triangle. So yes, the band is based out of Athens and they are planning a show there in late July as well. Watch here for news concerning a show somewhere out that way soon! =)

After that, Theocracy heads to Albany to headline the first SouthWest GA metal festival (SoWeGa)

Hoyt, do you have any info on Insomnia? Need some details (address, website, phone, etc.) before posting the show on the WREKage website....

yeah he showed me this bands website. its pretty cool stuff. looks like they are really getting the ball rolling now.

Patrick is attempting to convince Matt to change up some songs on there soon, so stay tuned.
