I saw Exodus a few years back at the Cotton Club...they were pretty damn good! Hallow's Eve opened up for them. That was one hell of a show. They had all their original members I believe too.
As for this show...it should be a good show. I've seen Goatwhore 80 thousand times and it seems like they play the same show over and over again. They bored me the last few times I saw them here. Don't get me wrong, I like Goatwhore.

They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
I think there's only one "original" member - Gary Holt. Exodus has had 12 people record albums (others too though never recording such as Kirk Hammet) and the original singer is dead. Other than that, everything you said is right onMetalfreak wrote:I saw Exodus a few years back at the Cotton Club...they were pretty damn good! Hallow's Eve opened up for them. Actually that tour featured Gary Holt, Rick Hunolt and Steve Souza, which while not the original lineup (No Paul Baloff R.I.P. and no Ham-ster), they were at least the core of the classic lineup. That was a fun night!BoB wrote:I think there's only one "original" member - Gary Holt. Their new material is fucking great though. It doesn't have the classic Zetro smirk to it, and the only original member in the band is Gary Holt, but the music is slammin'. Great old-school thrash with modern production elements.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

yeah, i was pretty underwhelmed by them personally. Had all these visions of Testament or something like that....the underground metallica lol. I don't know...i thought Arsis was pretty good, and Goatwhore...eh...never been a fan of them, but they definitely weren't horrible. I thought Warbringer was...well...interesting... their sound is kinda generic though. Cool guys imo. I left right after that kid admitted to downloading the Atrocity Exhibition. I was so hoping people would just beat the shit out of him, but oh well.Brian wrote:We left right after Exodus played Dethamphetamine. I really didn't think Exodus was all that great but the other 3 bands more than made up for it. That was the 5th time I've seen Arsis and it was their best show yet.
