The official lineup for this year's "The Summer Slaughter Tour" has been announced and it looks as follows:

* First half of tour only (June 5 - June 26)
** Second half of tour only (June 28 - July 21)

Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

I really really wanna see Ensiferum again so I hope we get that half of the tour.

And fuck it, I like Born of Osiris and After the Burial. So this tour actually has some of the decent -core bands.

This is a great lineup, with Suffocation, Origin, decrepit birth, Dying Fetus, and the others.

But Im pissed at necrophagist right now, they need to quit living off their past works and put out a new album. You are a band, your job is to make music, Epitaph came out in 2004, its almost 2010 and we havent heard one second of pre/ or post production from them. Onset came out originally in 1998 and was reissued in 2004, they basically have made one album in almost 10 years.

Bands like krisiun tour relentlessly and still manage to put out a record every year and a half or two years, there is no excuse for these german tech metallers.

I never liked Suffocation but I've been addicted to their live album (Close of a Chapter) lately...just bought it. So I can't wait to see them.

Necrophagist was amazing on the first Summer Slaughter tour so they will be awesome...hopefully they'll have some new stuff to play.

Origin's new album was one of my favorites of last year so I can't wait to see them.

I actually don't mind Born of Osiris...never seen them live though. They're nothing special but I don't hate them.

Beneath the Massacre is good...if we get the 1st half.

But I hope we get the 2nd half of the tour so I get to see Ensiferum again. That would own.

We need dates!!!

cool...it's on a Saturday. Last Summer Slaughter w/ Necrophagist was killer. alot of good locals downstairs as well. Is Marco still playing drums for them? It'd be awesome to see another drum solo from him. Think i'll go this year.

I thought Blackguard was on the 2nd half of the tour with Ensiferum?

Nope...they got a new drummer. And Marco is gonna work with Muhammed on a side project.
