They share members with Volahn, I believe.

And furthermore, Ashadautas is at the very least 30xs better than the garbage that is worshiped ad nauseum on this forum.

The eyedrum is an art club, I believe.

You believe correctly.

I'm excited to see Bone Awl, but Ashdautas fucking sucks.

@JCMincemoyer - the eyedrum is a short walk from the King Memorial marta station. I could tell you how to get there from the marta station but since I don't know any of the street names it wouldn't make any sense.

I found this: Eyedrum's - 290 MLK Jr. Dr. SE, Suite 8, Atlanta, GA 30312,
at the corner of Hill St. and M.L.K. Jr. Dr.
3 blocks west of historic Oakland Cemetery, on the west end of the Old Mattress Factory complex
Enter the chain linked gate, opposite DaddyD'z BBQ (the gate is open when Eyedrum is), look for the orange Silo drum just outside our door.

They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Metalfreak,

Thank you very much for the information. Do you know if there is plenty of parking in the area? Sorry for all of the questions...

JM

P.S. Just to gauge interest, if I were to bring copies of Oaken Throne 6 to the show might anyone be interested in buying a copy or two? I will also have some available at the WITTR Caledonia show...

yeah there's a decent parking lot there...well it can fit a good plenty cars but its gravel.

If I were to go to this, I'd probably buy an Oaken Throne...I've only heard good things about it so far. Are you going to the at the show tomorrow night at Swayze's?

I've been looking for the new Oaken Throne locally. Been bugging Criminal Records, etc. I'd definitely pick one up.

I will bring copies of OT 6 to the Bone Awl show. I, unfortunately (due to a short deadline), will not be attending the show at the Warehouse tonight.

Criminal Records does not have copies because we did consignment with them for issue No. 2 and never received any money from them. No local distros are carrying the new issue unless Evan at Deathgasm picked some up.

If you cannot wait until the Bone Awl show I can sell you a personal copy. Send $12 (cash) to:

John Mincemoyer/Oaken Throne
PO Box 555
Winterville, GA 30683

I will post them via First Class mail.

Metalfreak,

Hello. I will not be at Swayze's. I have several reviews to write as well as a Funeral Mist article to compose. Not sure when I will make it to Atlanta? Next planned gig would be Napalm Death...

I'll bump this one. It's tonight at Eyedrum (9:00 PM). There's a map and driving directions on their website. Also Marta bus routes are listed.

Does anyone know how much this one is? I was supposed to go camping with some friends but that's not gonna happen now, so I wouldn't mind checking out Bone Awl.

Edit: nevermind, the Eyedrum updated their site. $8.

I'm not going to be able to make it to this one.

There are so many good shows right now, and I'm missing all of them.
