Someone should set up a system whereby you could order tickets for just the headliner. You'd pay the ticket cost less the opening band(s)' percentage, but not be allowed into the venue until later.

I'd love to see Priest but really can't justify paying my hard earned money to see Whitesnake. :D

Oh, and Gamefreac, since they're playing all of British Steel at this show, that might be a good one to pick up. My favorite of their albums has always been Painkiller though.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

So far I have:

Painkiller
Sad Wings of Destiny
Screaming for Vengeance

I'll get British Steel next

If it was the same band that was opening for them in FL then it was Steve Harris' daughter's band. She's a decent singer, and seemed pretty easy on the eyes (from halfway across an arena anyway), but the music was pretty much awful.

I just visited the website of the band that's on before Whitesnake...Popevil. All I gotta' say is make sure your coolers are full 'cause we're gonna' have some time to kill.

Is Queensryche really playing this thing, too? I was rocking that s/t the other day. I have to admit: It's tough. Seriously.
