Not a fan on Mastodon and I've already seen Dethklok. I'm really getting into Converge now but they're opening so I'll skip this.
Youre really not going to go because Converge is opening instead of headlining? Youre an idiot.
I only have You Fail Me and Jane Doe...I'm JUST getting into them. Plus I've already seen Dethklok like I've said and I'm not a fan of Mastodon or High on Fire so that's enough of a reason for me not to go.
I don't think they play anything before Jane Doe anymore.

They played Locust Reign last time I saw them, but I don't think that's typical for their setlist.

I saw them not too long ago and they played plenty of stuff before Jane Doe. If youre just getting into them I would think you would want to go see them more. But I doubt they will be very good at such a big venue.

I know this may sound stupid to you but have you ever seen a band before and you liked them but didn't know their stuff that well?

Then you went back and got a bunch of their albums and a couple of months later became a huge fan, then saw em again, was familiar with their stuff and they were better because you knew their songs/knew what to expect.

And I'm not gonna go just because they're opening...that's one reason. I go to plenty of shows for 1 opening band but I have already seen Dethklok, I'm not a fan of the other 2 bands, and I need to get more of Converge's stuff, plus they're opening. That's 4 reasons why I'm not going. I'm sorry if you think that's stupid.

I'm interviewing Mastodon tomorrow at the show.

Any question suggestions?

Ask what the last CD was about.

Meaning, what the drugs were, so i can find a way to stop them.

from making them write ridiculous prog rock i'm guessing. i think the concept of the album is something like a paraplegic time traveling or some shit.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

I have never really been that much of a Mastodon fan. They are fun to listen to, but I get sick of them really fast.
