I read an article back in '86, probably, about Metallica and the author took the position that they were down to earth, no holds-barred, balls to the wall metalheads. The author then pointed to this song title and asked the question, "is this some existential metaphor? No. It's about some guy who is actually trapped under ice." This show was awesome. good times were had. also brought along my roommate who is into stuff like Tool, but for some reason really likes TUI. he enjoyed his first hardcore show.
Neal, do you know what time the Western Haikus set will start next week? all my friends want to see the whole show at the Masq, but I couldn't care less aside from the first band...
