Please believe I will be sad to miss this one. But I ain't getting off work at 6, driving back and forth from Alpharetta, then getting up for work at 4 am. If Klaus was still taking my phone calls we could have straightened this thing out.VOEGTLIN wrote:It's a Wednesday, right? And your fave, Ratt, is opening.
Alpharetta Klaus? It's like that?

If you've never listened to them before try Taken by Force or Virgin Killer. Then work your way up to the 80s: Blackout, Love at First Sting, Animal Magnetism, World Wide Live, etc.
They're great fucking songwriters. Of the reamining HM Gods, Klaus Meine is one; Halford and Bruce D. the others.
B, if you can tolerate Power Metal, you will dig Scorps.

"Wind of Change", dude.VOEGTLIN wrote:How can you not like Scorps?
Of course, the Blackout album was all but ubiquitous back then. And, really how can you not dig "No One Like You." But, somehow, I missed a lot of that classic hard rock stuff. I was never really exposed to, and there never became a fan of, Kiss, Scorps, Deep Purple, Rush, etc.
Call it a defect in taste, maybe.

here's setlist from a couple of days ago -
Sting In The Tail
Make It Real
Bad Boys Running Wild
The Zoo
Coast To Coast
Loving You Sunday Morning
We'll Burn The Sky
The Best Is Yet To Come
Send Me An Angel
Holiday
The Good Die Young
Raised on Rock
321
Kottak Attack
Blackout
Big City Nights
Encore:
Still Loving You
Wind of Change
Rock You Like A Hurricane
- a few stinkers, but a lot of good stuff as well. Looks like they are mixing in a couple of different songs every night, but this will probably pretty similar to what the setlist will be here.
