I've got a list of everyone that has responded to date. We are still waiting to hear back from a few bands. I am at work right now and will post it probably tonight when I get home. Thanks to everyone that signed up. Happy New Year.

For 5 bucks, I think I'll definitely be there! I'm looking forward to seeing the bands I haven't seen yet.

Metalfest 2003 was a fucking disaster. I sincerely hope someone with some damn sense is organizing this one. The best thing they could do would be to have fewer bands and to say to hell with using Purgatory as a stage.

Seems to be less Nu-Metal and Hurdcore on this year, which is good.

As the Seasons Grey was a great laugh last year.

Hell, a lot of the bands last time weren't heavy enough even to be caled Nu-Metal. The metal was few and far between at the last metalfest...

Not sure which one in 2003 you are referring to. We did the first one early in the year and BHC did the DooDoopalooza/Anthrax Metalfest in Oct 03 which we only played but had nothing to do with. If you are referring to the first then hopefully we have developed some sense and this one will be more impressive. I don't like Purgatory and probably wouldn't open it either but in all honesty there are a few clubs around here that look pretty much just like it. As far as the bands go this year I have posted the lineup so far and I think it's a great mix and cerainly worth $5.

Thanks again to everyone that has signed up. I should have more of the details you are looking for by the weekend. We are playing the Masq Friday night and should be able to cover most everything with them then.

I'm referring to the one with Anthrax. I didn't go to the first one. The "metalfest" with Anthrax was the "disaster" I was referring to.

Is there going to be a bigger band headlining or is it all locals?

Yeah that one wasn't really a metalfest, it was more like a anyone-with-a-guitar-fest. Anthrax wasn't bad too.

Purgatory is now filling up. So far it is looking like Diaspora, Blinded Nights Tradgedy and Southern Menatal Illness. It should also feature a dunking booth. The time slots for Heaven and Hell are now set. Here is the line up. Well have spaced the two floors 30 minutes apart in an effort to put as many people as possible in front each band as possible and so that there is always a band to watch no counting the time to backline the next 5 acts on each stage.

Everyone, if you haven't already please send me a home or cell phone number you can be reached at to LVLATL@AOL.COM

Doors 2pm

Heaven
3:30-4:00 Black Anniversary
4:20-4:50 PerilUs
5:10-5:40 Human Abstrakt
6:00-6:30 A Thousand Times Repent
6:50-7:20 Enders Game
40 min turnaround
8:00-8:30 Armani Death Machine
8:50-9:20 A Knife Trade
9:40-10:20 Psychotic LeveL (LeveL and Psychotic Suspensions joint set)
10:40-11:20 Lilitu
11:40-12:20 Organ
12:40-END Icepick

Hell
3:00-3:30 Doragrey
3:50-4:20 Cuntworm
4:40-5:10 Conkrete Theory
5:30-6:00 As the Seasons Grey
6:20-6:50 Daughter of Lust

7:30-8:00 Attain from Beneath
8:20-8:50 Servitude

Damn purgatory sucks. Oh well though. If we must play there we will. No sense in complaining.
