ULVER, interest?

Post by masquerade » Wed October 6th, 2010, 4:28 pm

Checking to see how many folk would like to see Ulver, experimental band from Norway. I don't believe they have ever been to America. Tickets would likely be around $30.00

Pretty unbelievable if you ask me and to get them to Atlanta and not another date to close would probably be good. I would pay $30 to see them.

Are they gonna be doing Nattens Madrigal? If not, no.

Most definitely. $30 is pretty steep though.

hell yes, but reduce the price some or make sure you have a lineup worth dying for if you want to get anyone out there

$30 is fine for a band like Ulver, they've only done like 2 or 3 shows over the past 15 years. $30 is definitely reasonable for them to play in Atlanta, Georgia.

when would this be? I wouldn't be surprised if MDF tried to get them and this is based around that date...not that far off from booking Neurosis as a headliner.

Likely Jan or Feb. Lots of costs involved to make it happen. Thus, trying to determine interest.

Sounds cool, I'm not familiar with their discography though. Can you guys recommend me some Ulver albums to start out with? I really dig the work Garm has done with Arcturus since hearing about them being announced for Progpower.

I might go if I was more familiar with their experimental stuff but I only have Blood Inside and Perdition City.

If they play black metal stuff, I will definitely fucking be there.

Unlikely though.

$30 is pretty cheap for a band that hasn't played live in the past 15 years or so and only recently for a couple shows in Europe. There's really no justification for complaining

also Ulver's electronic material is better than their black metal
