Anyone know about Belphegor's VISA situation? Are they gonna show up this time??? I'm waiting to make sure they're coming before I go to this show.

Their website says:
Belphegor wrote:Friday 15 April 2011...

Chapter II: BELPHEGOR will be direct support for SEPULTURA, on their upcoming North America tour with
NEURAXIS, HATE, KEEP OF KALESSIN and BONDED BY BLOOD, which kicks off Monday in Toronto, Canada
at the Opera House. In between the tour BELPHEGOR shreds three headliner shows. The band flies over on Sunday.
"The band flies over on Sunday" sounds fairly specific. As little as they visit their own website, I hope they would have mentioned if they were missing more shows. Regardless of that, I already have my ticket, so I'll be there. At least Blackguard won't get my money this time.

Got there right when Sepultura came on. Brought out the camcorder to try and record and the security guy kicked me out for not having a video pass... WHat the fuck do I need a video pass for? Man, fuck the masquerade...

AT-LAN-TAHH, ARE YOU READY FOR CHAOS AND TERR-ORRRRRRR??

Hey MenstrualBubbles, I'm not surprised you missed everything else -- Belphegor went on at 9 fucking 30. And then only played like 35 minutes. I couldn't believe it. They dug up some old stuff but still didn't play "Swarm of Rats." The next time Helmuth calls me I'm going to mention all of this.

We left after a couple of Sepultura songs and I still only got three hours of sleep. I'm gonna take a nap on the desk here in a minute.

I'm surprised I liked Sepultura as much as I did. I hadn't even listened to them for years since Max left. But they put on a pretty good show, played a decent amount of old shit. it was good to hear some of those old songs again. Still they kinda looked like a Sepultura cover band to me.

Belphegor's set was WAY too short. wtf! Not digging the new album very much though either. Decent performance anyway even with background keyboard noise.

I went to Purgatory during set changes and saw some pretty good ska bands from Canada playing. I think I saw the friendliest mosh pit ever.

Where the fuck was that coming from? It was most distressing.

This new album isn't their greatest stuff. But I think the first track is a fantastic way to start off a show, which they did. I don't know what else was going on though. Was it short because there were six bands on the bill? That's at least two too many if you ask me. It ain't Summer Slaughter.

Oh, one magical highlight for me was when badcarburetor went to "make a phone call," disappeared, and came back holding this:

Sorry RJD, Ima let you get back to rocking, but Blackguard is the tr00est metal band that ever metalled.

which was pretty ridiculous as there were about 100 or so iphones doing the same thing. i suppose next you won't be allowed to bring those in.

ohhh that was you? I was outside when I saw them escorting someone out. (unless someone else got escorted out)

I caught the end of Hate and ofcourse saw the rest. Sepultura was freakin awesome! (or what's left of them anyways lol) They played alot of old shit like someone said and the new songs they played rocked as well. I'm so glad I went!
