I love Mayhem. Even the new stuff. Even GDoW. Freezing Moon was one of the first songs I ever learned on guitar. Still haven't seen them. Last time they came here, it was canceled because the city of Atlanta rented out the Masquerade.Generubin wrote:Mayhem? pfffft...who caresBrian wrote:wait....that's during Rites of darkness

I'd go to this. Mayhem was pretty entertaining at MDF last year.

Yeah. Actually, now that I think about it, that show being canceled is what spawned CHAOS.Metalfreak wrote:that's why it was cancelled?Brian wrote:I love Mayhem. Even the new stuff. Even GDoW. At least for once ATL is pretty deep on the tour date list and not the first date for a furrin band. There should be no "visa issues."Knucklehead wrote:I would go. If only for the nostalgia -- Mayhem was the first black metal band that I listened to regularly.
But I'm not holding my breath on the show actually happening.
Mayhem did play her before. Not sure why you are doubting this.

that's a horrible support lineup and best case scenario, I'll be at Rites. too bad.
