OBITUARY SHOW INFO. EVERYONE PLEASE READ!!!
I am book the Obituary show at Archive Gallery next monday. I am giving a percentage of the door money to rent the AG for the show. So I want everyone to understand that it was me alone that brought Obituary here.
The only reason Im saying that its my call who gets in, and I want EVERYONE to feel welcome. No one is not allowed into this show.
Sadistic Ritual is more than welcome to play. Obituary didnt ask them to play but they are more than welcome to open if they want to. Doors are at 7 and the show is at 8. So if they want to play at 7:30 and share gear with Living Decay and Spewtilator I would love for them to play.
If the show turns out bad it will reflect bad upon me to Obituary, no one else.
Monday November 21st
Doors 7:00
Show will start EXACTLY at 7:30
AG will have cheap drinks for sale so come out and party!
THE PARKING: There is more than enough parking for everyone. We've had shows with 400+ people and parking has never been an issue. The area is kinda sketchy, but no more sketchy than 585. No one is getting shot, stabbed, or robbed so dont worry about it.

Cool. I hope I can make it and see Obituary and Living Decay, since it's been a while. It would be cool to see Sadistic Ritual open too.
Hopefully this show goes over well, and as long as you're the one running things and people see that, there's a decent chance that the AG can have a second chance. Hope to see everyone there, BS free.

I really am over all the BS drama surrounding archive and this show. If anyone has an issue with me, come talk to me. I think that things have been totally blown out of proportion and miscommunicated.
I am glad that sadistic ritual is playing, the owner asked me to have a 4 band limit, which I talked thru and worked it out so that 5 bands could play and sadistic ritual was added last week. I re-designed the posters I silk screened to include them, because I want them to be part of the show and I am pleased that they are.
Sound-keep in mind archive is a fairly new spot, they had a really decent PA once, it was ruined by carelessness of people using it and the gallery has not had the money to replace it since-because most of the money goes to support the bands instead of the gallery...
For this show, I secured a PA and rented it with my own money-literally breaking the bank for a college student's wallet-used all my rent money to ensure the best sound possible, to please the fans and the bands. Why? because I realize when a band or a fan comes to a venue, good sound is expected- I have taken the responsibility of ensuring that those expectations are met by running around and making sure it happens. Please note I am not paid to do any of this by Archive or anyone, it is all volunteer, I am doing the best I possibly can.
I have made a lot of sacrifices for this show and for past shows, all of which I feel go unnoticed because of all the shit starters, whining about things that they think they know about. I think its pretty obvious that I'm not a 'poser' what are we 12?
Neal and I have worked together as a team to make this happen, I sincerely hope everyone has a good time- and on that note, the only people that I do not care to show their face at Archive are those who publicly defame, and talk shit on the venue. why would you come somewhere that you are so adamant about disliking, and why would I welcome you to come? If you're going to start shit on here or at the venue, don't bother coming, we will do fine without your negativity.
I will be selling these posters at the show tonight; I made them for you guys as a souvenir of what I hope is a kick ass time for all...
