I now understand why Black Witchery is considered a joke BM band..
But holy shit Hellgoat came out of nowhere and fucking destroyed. Grave Ritual I liked a lot too. I don't really enjoy the Vasaeleth/Antediluvian style of death metal on record, but I think Grave Ritual really differentiates themselves
how did hellgoat come out of nowhere????
Well I didn't know what to expect because they haven't been playing shows lately and I haven't heard any of their recorded material.
Also did anyone else get hit with a parking ticket? Utter bullshit. 25 bucks for parking facing the wrong direction. Does anyone even use that road?
Also I thought the Book of Mormon burning during Black Witchery was a nice touch.

Hellgoat and Grave Ritual destroyed.
I enjoyed the Black Witchery set, although I skipped out early. An hour between Persdition Temple and Black Witchery was too much for me. As others noted, they seemed to have two songs that they played relentlessly, but I still enjoyed it.

They seemed to have trouble keeping it lit, which was entertaining on its own. Remember, kids: if you are going to burn the Bible, you better bring your Boy Scout water, too.
Also, I'm not quite sure how to process this, so I most likely will just try to forget it.

I wasn't next to the gate nor blocking anything. Just facing oncoming traffic.

Just an FYI, but if your car gets hit while it's parked facing the wrong way the insurance company won't have your back.

Had to work through this one, but will have to catch the Horna/Kommandant/Hellgoat show. Also, if anyone hasn't checked out Knucklehead's link, they really should...

You're supposed to park in the direction of travel. At least, that is what the law says.

I was beginning to wonder if the link was broken.

Hellgoat was awesome. Best band of the night. Grave Ritual was good too, but the sound could have been a little better for them.

thanks for everyone coming out and having a good time!
people that sneak into shows without paying and start fights in 'the pit' baffle me. as well as those that sneak in, annoy the bands, and can't seem to find a ride home after being asked to leave for 3 hours. hmm.
but the rest of yall were awesome!!
black witchery took forever to go on, they were in the back perfecting their makeup. they were also pretty insistent about having the lights on for their set.
all good though, see yall next time
