ProgPower 2012

Post by Brian » Fri April 27th, 2012, 8:14 am

I thought I had made a topic about this already....guess not. Overall the lineup isn't really to my taste this year compared to the last few but Primordial makes up for all of that. Also Beyond the Bridge is pretty solid if you're into gay prog stuff. Plus Mystic Prophecy is long overdue.

Sept. 14 - 15 at Center Stage

Sept 14
Epica
Redemption (Ray Alder on vox so worth watching for that alone)
Primordial
Serenity
Amaranthe
Kingcrow
Sinbreed (same drummer as Blind Guardian so I'll definitely be watching this one)

Sept 15
Symphony X
Pretty Maids
Mayan
Mystic Prophecy
Solution 45
Lanfear
Beyond the Bridge

Never heard of any of those bands except for Symphony X. Last year I was driving by and yelled out REAL MEN LISTEN TO CANDLEMASS and everyone got very angry with me.

I'm assuming that Pretty Maids unfortunately has no affiliation with Joe Walsh?
Thanks,

Theyre supposed to come out with a farewell album and a last tour. To me, Messiah was Candlemass. The other singers were all great singers, but I think Messiah was on a whole different level.

Freakin' Sweet Brian!!!
METAL!!! "GOULET"!!! LOL

Sorry, I just had to add one of my favorite Will Ferrel characters!
Now, just picture him as the crooner, Robert Goulet, all decked out
in a denim vest,w/ Metal patches all over it, in Black Leather Pants, a Bullet belt & Black Leather biker boots, wearing some old
skool studded Gauntlets on both arms, w/ black leather fingerless gloves,
throwing up the horns, & screaming "METAL!!! GOULET"!!!
