5/12 Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost @ The Masquerade

Post by AnthragorTheDestroyer » Sat May 5th, 2012, 8:35 pm

You can say Mastodon aren't metal, but when they come out with Opeth and Ghost it's a big deal. I'm excited. Anybody else excited?

As a side note, I also have an extra ticket if anyone else is interested. If you are, then feel free to PM me.

This is a bullshit way of rationalizing your likes/dislikes. There, I said that too.

Embrace what you like. Don't try to make yourself feel better about it by making some argument that has no ground whatsoever. "Kvlt" and "tr00" are empty words. Always have been.

IMO, metal archives is a good judge for what's "metal" and what's not

What I listen to is a good judge of what's good and what's not, IMO.

"Tech thrash" has never been my bag. Your riffs can be tight and weird and all, but at the end of the day, I'm still gonna put on Dio instead.

What Winger is to Beavis & Butthead is what Mastodon is to me. They Suck.

Re: Mastodon... "Leviathan" wasn't bad. It was downhill from there though.
