would prefer the variety.will i half to grow an ironic mustache in order to get ?

at least now if david bowie comes i can say i saw all of my favorite bands who are still alive in the span of one year ...so now the mayans can bring it

another point of interest when i was inquiring about press for this they gave me jarboe's email address, i know she's singing on the new album so maybe shes back playing shows with them again

Now I don't feel so bad for missing the show at the Variety

Variety is infinitely more 'ironic mustache' than Terminal West....TW is where all the 18yr old ecstasy ravers go on the weekends. It is supposed to have pretty good sound though and they've been picking up some bigger and bigger shows lately. It's perfect location for me so I hope it starts getting used more often for good stuff.

but now that the black lips are so last year for the stache bash kids they are bringing back the rave when of course not reverting back to their shitty garage rock albums, the all saints show this weekend is pretending to be a rave to get people out to the 529,

some of that crowd kinda flirts with Swans like I saw the queen from Deerhunter at the variety show trying to pick up Thor Harris and get him to go to a house party with him, so I told Thor to be careful because the dude has a.i.d.s and was going to slip something in his drink

Did anyone really enjoy this show last time they came through? I wanted to go but something came up.

I'm definitely going. I can attest, the sound at Terminal West is pretty damn good.

I know I'm one of the only ones, but I hate Variety Playhouse, so I skipped out on the last time. I do have tickets for this upcoming show.

I went to this spot last night and it ruled. Definitely prefer it to the Masq, Variety, and Center Stage. No bad view in the place, well-stocked bar, great sound/lights, an outside balcony for people to smoke or get fresh air, re-entry, air conditioned, the works. Looking forward to this show a lot.
