Raven...damn...Who's in the band and why are they playing in Marietta. That's definitely going to limit their draw.

The Gallagher brothers are still there, as is the drummer who replaced Wacko back in the late 80's.

Marietta has the venue that seems to be the favorite of the promoter. It's actually got a good stage/sound system and air conditioning that works.

The main bar area is completely separate from the music area (though there is a bar in there as well) and serves a decent-sized food menu, too and the show I went to there had in and out privileges, too.

Honestly if people can't be fucked to drive an extra 20 minutes to see a legendary band like Raven play Atlanta for the first time, they probably wouldn't have made the effort to see them in town to begin with. Half the people on this board drive from the burbs to ITP for shows multiple times a month -- one show being the opposite won't hurt anyone. Place only holds 200-300 anyway.

I wish more shows I liked were at this place. It's closer to me than Masq, 529, etc, has re-entry, good food, cheap beer, plentiful parking, good sound and lights, and they play sports on TV in the main room.
