DevilDriver
Cancer Bats
Legacy of Disorder

Are these bands anything worth sitting through before being splattered with fake blood? I've only ever heard of Devil Driver.

File under Embarrassing Confessions?

I really like the new Cancer Bats album Dead Set on Living. I don't know why. It's not a style that I can usually even tolerate, but for some reason this one album really clicks with me. I heard a song on satellite radio and it got stuck in my head so I checked out the album and it does it for me.

I guess even metalcore (or whateverdafugitis) can pop out a winner every now and then.

Maybe someday I'll hear a nu metal album I dig. Doubt it though...

There's one song by Devil Driver that I like. I've seen them a couple of times and they're pretty good I think. They don't sound like Coal Chamber so that's always a plus! I don't have any of their stuff though so I can't speak for what they sound like recorded.

As for GWAR, if I am in the ATL then I'll be there!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Musically, they're not bad, but the singer is terrible.

I don't remember Gwar ever coming through with a really good band. There may be rare instances here and there in the past, but I can't remember any.

Coal Chamber is terrible. Devil Driver, again, somewhat better musically, but the singer just ruins it.

Fear Factory's first couple albums were excellent, but it all wen't drastically downhill from there.

Machine Head followed a similar path: 2 great albums followed by a complete drop off the deep end, but they've managed to rally quite a bit over the last few albums. Still not what a lot of the folks on this board would dig, perhaps, but I really love what they've done over the last few years.

America Must Be Destroyed tour included Genitorturers and the Melvins. That was pretty sweet!

But yeah, overall I tend to agree.
