Vitus played the Metroplex in 1988 or so. Mournful Cries tour with, if I'm not mistaken, the Mentors, of all bands, opening. Killer show.

Vitus also played a show with Black Flag at 688 in '85 maybe? With Saccharine Trust? That show was as much of a blur minutes after it was over, as it is today.

i saw black flag at 688, in my head tour, but didn't see the openers... was that the same show? still have the flag patch i bought that night.

I think it may have been the Slip It In tour (late 84/early 85). I think the In My Head tour was with Gone and Painted Wiliie or some other SST bullshit, which probably explains why you were late.
