Alice is metal as shit. Remind me to show y'all the deep mental scars he left after singing "Welcome to My Nightmare" on the Muppet Show. I didn't sleep for a month.

Okay, so the Muppet Show probably isn't a very strong argument. BUT STILL.

METALLL!!

What's the lawn like at this place? I've never been there.

I never get lawn at Lakewood because what's the point? I could sit in my own yard and put a tv across the street and have the same experience only the beer would be way cheaper.

Totally forgot to buy a ticket for this. Will do when I get home. If I recall, lawns here aren't as far from the stage and has a decent incline.

Yeah, a good deal closer and sloped higher than Lakewood. And the sound is way better, too. Only been there twice (Scorpions/Ratt and Priest) and was pretty great all around both times.

I don't suppose Wrekage is going to be doing some of their magic with this show tonight on the air, yeah?

Looks like lawn seats are sold out.

Fuck yes. Alice Cooper played for nearly an hour and pulled out more props than I've seen in a while. His 10 foot tall singing Frankenstein's monster robot was pretty damn cool. Played essential classic tunes only and left everyone's jaws on the ground with a new lady guitar player that shredded everyone there a new one. Crüe played some great shit and only ventured past Dr. Feelgood for a couple of songs. The human skeleton that used to be Mick Mars was still playing strong and did actually manage to eke out a farewell worthy guitar solo (though it felt kinda weak after watching Alice Cooper's lady axe grinder). Saw a few familiar faces among the shoulder to shoulder lawn crowd. Pretty satisfying evening.

I caught the show out in Birmingham. Crue sounded better than they have the last few times I've seen them. Still not great, but better. haha Alice freaking owned as always! Oh, and the female guitarist Tommy mentioned was actually Nita Strauss of the Iron Maidens.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Oh, I thought that name sounded familiar. Glanced at her bio on the Alice site after the show, but not sure how I missed that. I was impressed for sure.
