Would have been a great show, if Matt hadn't stepped on people's toes and started shoving down women and children.

Additionally, venues should turn those neanderthals away.

I read their website last night. They mostly appear to like traditional heavy metal and some thrash, with no apparent love for death or black metal. I was tempted at a couple of points to start a pit, last night. (I haven't had that urge in years.) I guess it was ultimately a good thing I didn't. I think Moyer was ultimately right, when I floated the idea of an Atlanta Metal patch awhile back. One of those guys had a patch that said, "I don't need to call 911, I have brothers." Q.E.D. They seem to have modeled their thing on MC clubs and appear to be pretty insular and aloof.

Several years back, Wiese and I were talking about how we were lucky to stumble across this website and meet all of you guys. All that went down fast, and I didn't see who all was involved, but I know a lot of you stepped in to break that shit up. I'm proud to know you guys. In my work, I deal with a population that, at least a large percentage of which, would have just allowed Matt to get stomped, and that's just not cool.

But enough words have been spilled on them.

I was having a great time during Raven's set, up till that point. Those guys started out back in the '70's and I am amazed how much energy and passion Mark Gallagher still has. He is a monster on stage.

First time I got to see Cemetery Filth. They need to come back.

Night Demon wasn't my thing.

His vocals at points were hilariously bad and awesome. Kill All Monsters pretty much ruled everything, I mentioned to some people last night that it would be a great video game theme song.

This shit was super impressive and awesome!!

Still think an "I *inverted cross* ATL" patch would be cool. Not a big back patch or anything, but a small one.

This happens every fucking time those guys occasionally decide to venture down into the city for a show. The entire venue graciously took the high road dealing with their gang horseshit. And Raven did rule incredibly hard. Excellent night overall.

For the record, all I did was worm my way through the crowd. No-one was knocked over. A toe got stepped on or something, and questions were asked later rather than prior. It was a packed club, people took offense to me trying to get through. Shit went off, the end.

I live to fight another day.

Not a bad nickname, but that might associate me with Wormreich too much. And who needs that.

I wish I was able to do more than kick one of them in the face. Kinda hard though when it's 10 fucking gorillas.

WTF? I'm pretty sure I was standing next to you for like 15 minutes before anything went down. LOL
