Not a concert, but a documentary film about the devastation of musculation that was/is John Mikl Thor. Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. Will not be missing this.

Essential if you dig even one Thor album. It was as far-out and totally fuckin' rockin' and cool as it was just sad (sort of as I expected). I wish they would've elaborated a little more on the early days. For instance, he and his ex-wife both straight up claimed on film that he was drugged and kidnapped by a couple of heavies from RCA Canada over a contract dispute. They blew by crazy shit like that so quickly that you hardly had time to process it. The whole film kind of followed the Anvil, Pentagram, etc. docu-formula of a rise, fall and prolonged rocky comeback, but with a bizarre iron pumping, back bacon, Molson Ice, hockey hair, comic book twist that could only come from Jon Mikl Thor. Myself, therothstanator, ratanda, and melkor were the only four fuckers in the entire upstairs theater. Check it out if you get a chance.

pretty much. it has its sad moments but it ends on a high note so you don't watch the credits feeling all depressed.
