HEMATOVORE - Saturday 10th @ Drunken Unicorn

Post by BoB » Fri September 9th, 2005, 8:35 am

Hematovore, Circle and Urdog at Drunken Unicorn this Saturday!
If you like Pelican you'll love Hematovore - no vocals and more dymanic music.

Well then.
I think I know how to fill some time Saturday night.
I wonder if this will interfere with our Club Vision raid...

Wow. You get your feelings hurt REALLY easy. Yeah, I've met/know the majority of the people on this board (that are regular posters) and I'm sure they'll all tell you I'm INCREDIBLY obese. I'm sorry I'm the only person in the world that can't fit into the same clothes I wore when I was 12.

You mean you weren't completely serious??

Anyway, yeah Hematovore is a really really good instrumental metal band. Way more technical than Pelican I'd say and offering a different texture, more straight-forward.

One of their old bios had one of my favorite descriptions ever in it: "Put together Napalm Death and King Crimson, then throw away the good parts and you have Hematovore."

Hematovore put on an awesome show last night. It was the first time I've seen them since they've had 3 guitarists and they made it work extremely well.

Missed the 2nd band and I didn't care for the 3rd band. The bar room of the Drunken Unicorn got PACKED after the bands finished. Not a bad place to hang out.

Yes, Hematovore was fucking killer. Probably the happiest band I've ever seen on stage, too.
