my neck hurts and I called in today. great show. chris from ectovoid sounds stupid good on vocals. disable was fast as shit. devil master ruled. frank is so good. he does a little irish two step while he plays guitar it's enchanting.

Holy fuck was Seraphic Entombment ever great. Haven't been blown away like this in a while. I love all of the Ecto-projects, but this is absolutely crushing in every way possible. Really interesting writing. Heavy as fuck plodding slab of death. I have a new favorite regional band.

I missed Seraphic Entombment when they played with Incantation last year. Glad they were able to play this one! Apparently they were previously a 3 piece?

Yeah, the stage left guitarist told me he wasn't in the band when they played with Incantation after I mentioned that I also missed that show.

yeah, the filled-out sound of SE's second guitarist really brings things together. not that they didn't crush when they rolled into town last year, but everything was really on point last night: drum sound, vocals (!), guitars

Devil Master was awesome, but I could not hear the rhythm guitarist at all. It was completely buried!

Yea haha. That band started as almost a joke and it wasnt even franks main band. John has like the worst possible BC Rich and I think his amp is like a stupid little combo amp.

And to this day I am still a bit dissapointed at their live sound. Satan Spits on Children of Light is an excellent album with a much better sound quality.
