Sacramentum/Vimur/Ectovoid
I missed Ectovoid last night, sadly — by all accounts, they were fantastic.
Vimur were awesome. It was great to see Josh play with a bass strap that actually stayed attached to the instrument. I didn’t recognize Charlie at first, likely because of the corpsepaint. Joe was a machine. And Pat is always otherworldly.
Sacramentum are a bit of an enigma for me —FAFTS is a stone-cold classic, but Nisse Karlen’s stage presence is a head scratcher. Charlie told me that he is that way in IRL, too. Although they immediately sent enjoyed their time on tour with him.
Last night was just awesome. It felt like 2012 again — so many familiar faces, metal, and beer. I miss those days.

I don’t know the next time Vimur will play again. But Ecto will be coming back through. Those boys are all right.
Re: Sacramentum/Vimur/Ectovoid
I'll try to remember that the next time I take it personally no one reached out. haha.

You’re a unicorn, now, like me. There was a time when I’d go to a dozen shows a year. Now, it’s two or three. The kids are older now, so we’ll see if that changes.
But yes, that is our future.
Re: Sacramentum/Vimur/Ectovoid
Exactly. I've been trying to limit my show-going to bands I haven't seen before, or some that I haven't seen in years. Spectral Wound is an exception. I think I'd go see them any time.Knucklehead wrote: ↑Fri August 9th, 2024, 8:05 amYou’re a unicorn, now, like me. There was a time when I’d go to a dozen shows a year. Now, it’s two or three. I adore you in this song for me
