Have to say, even though I passed out sometime between Anathema and Dragonfarts, from reading the playlist this was one of the best WREKages in quite a while. I hate it that I missed hearing Vehemence, but oh well.
And no Slayer. I'm ambivalent about this. But it was a refreshing change, nevertheless.

I talked two different people out of making Slayer requests and got them to make Soilent Green and Deicide requests instead (granted Deicide isn't that creative either but they get played less than Slayer).DeathfareDevil wrote: And no Slayer. Slayer are without question one of the best bands ever and have influenced pretty much every band who came after them, but we don't need to hear them every. single. week. I think the show sounds best playing stuff from all over the spectrum of metal, and I try to reflect that in my playlists.
...although, some of the hosts (er, host) would disagree with me on that. Thanks for the compliments though.
