I'm a fan of IE (saw em live too and loved em) but I was disappointed....it's alright but it was kinda mehProstheticHead12 wrote:thoughts? it's supposed to be a concept album about cancer and i can see that being incredibly lame, although i like IE a lot.GameFreac wrote:New Into Eternity

Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane
Mr. SOS - Mr. SOS for President
Arsis - A Celebration of Guilt
The last album was better (and Buried in Oblivion was great too). I don't know Stu's voice got higher and sounds kinda gay now.....the screams also sound different and good (but not as good as the Scattering of Ashes)....there's not as many brutal songs and good solos.
I guess I have to listen to it more

Which Saxon if I may ask? "Crusader" was an old favorite of mine as was "Power & Glory" and "Denim & Leather." Also, the last album they put out, I cannot remember the title--cover art featured a grave marker--wasn't bad. Actually, it had some solid thrash-oriented riffing, which was weird to hear if you're into/familiar with Saxon! Saw them several times in Germany in the 80s. They always put on a good show and the crowds were always boisterous. But, I'm getting off topic:GameFreac wrote:Saxon - trying to get into more "Heavy" Metal
The Crown
Equilibrium
John Zorn - "From Silence to Sorcery"
Naked City - Black Box: "Torture Garden" & "Leng T'che"
Hellish Crossfire - "Slaves of the Burning Pentagram"
Black Goat - "Self-titled"
