MetalFreak, the song selection on your show is getting odder every week. What was that Grateful Dead-sounding thing you guys played in the first half hour? Still a good show, though, as always -- though more black metal would be nice. The Merrimack was cool.

Anyway, my current spins, mostly thanks to The End's killer sale:

Strapping Young Lad - The New Black
Rotting Christ - Passage to Arcturo
Mork Gryning - Pieces of Primal Expressionism
Pestiferous - Gateway
Utuk Xul - Goat of the Black Possession
Urgrund - Disciples of Supremacy
Diamatregon - Blasphemy for Satan

And just purchased today, and consumed immediately:

Opeth - Roundhouse Tapes DVD
Turisas - The Varangian Way (I'm a bit late to the Turisas party, but I'm glad I arrived -- the included live DVD is awesome, too)

A beautiful swan song. Wasn't their last show in Atlanta?

Absolutely incredible album. One of my favorites.

From the "Refused are Fucking Dead" press release:
Refused "broke up" on the 26th of September 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia, and in a last feeble attempt to break the linear timeline that the modern ways of production has forced upon us we played the last show in Harrisonburg, Virginia on the 6th of October 1998. The show was interrupted after 4 songs by the local policeforce who thought that they've had enough.

So I guess they called it quits in Atlanta but fulfilled the rest of their tour obligation.
