Man, old In Flames is fucking sick. And a good sick. Like a twenty four hour virus that gets you out of work and allows you to sit around all day, smoke weed and listen to old In Flames.

Yeah.

Oh also he said they'll be doing a headlining tour next year, probably in between July and September.

I went last night...I got there about 2 songs into In Flames set...they played alot of newer stuff but they played some old stuff too. I'm not crazy about their new material at all but I must say they are a great live band and it sounds alot heavier live than on record (man, does it sound gay on record!).

I went in the pit for Dead God In Me and The Jester Race and whatever else they played around when they played those. oh yeah, and Cloud Connected...I crowd surfed for that one...yeah it's a bit newer but it was the first In Flames song I ever heard. I love that song! 8)

Twenty bucks says Job for a Cowboy or some other gay shit will have a spot in the lineup.

I wanted to see these guys again, but I couldn't. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch them the next time around.

I think we might be distant cousins. They are DuPlantiers, I am a DePlonty. They come from Bayonne, my family came from somewhere around Bourdeaux. Worth drinking over, anyway, I would think.

Unfortunately I'd say you are completely right. Except Job for a Cowboy would probably headline over Gojira, so it'll be something even shittier.

A Gojira headlining tour needs to happen asap. If the openers didn't suck that would be a nice plus...as unlikely as that is to be the case.

They put on a great show the other night. They totally blew In Flames and 36 Crazyfists) off the stage. 36 sounded like absolute shit and there music is about as predictable as it gets. (36 Breakdowns per set?) In Flames sounded good (as always) but they had absolutely no energy or stage presence. The singer was at least moving but the rest of the band looked like they could have cared less about the whole endeavor.

I didn't care though. I was there to see Gojira, and they fucking delivered!
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!
