Sucks about Marduk/Pestilence cancellations. I guess there might have been another cancellation because Withered got to play (good for them). Theres a bunch of photos on Http://returntothepit.com. The outside stage looks awesome in the photos.

holy mother fuck I had such a great time! I still can't believe that I got to see Bolt Thrower 2 nights in a row! That was worth all the money I spent right there! Them and Destroyer 666. Those 2 bands were the 2 main reasons why I went.

the others I watched were: Mayhem, Flesh Parade, Withered, Gnostic, Atheist, Sigh, Asphyx, Devourment, Hail of Bullets, The Red Chord, Brutal Truth, Immolation, Napalm Death, Absu, General Surgery, Krallice, Wolves in the Throne Room (not their whole set though), Cephalic Carnage, damn there's too many I can't remember them all!

I have some bruises too...just today I noticed this rather large one on the back of my calf lol

I have video footage and lots of pictures. I'll get those uploaded soon and post links.

Thanks for the vids Amanda. Very cool to see Attila back with Mayhem. Always thought his vocals were killer and very unique. Looks like a great time was had.

Maybe a keepsake contusion. I think that it got snagged on the top of that huge chainlink barrier fence that got knocked over. I was sandwiched in between the fence and the crowd for a moment before it fell and noticed that it was a 2 x 4 that the banner was tacked to at the top. That had to hurt when it came down. I'm pretty sure security or some road dog picked it up as soon as it came down.

yikes! I'm glad it didn't hit you! yeah I noticed it got tugged on every so often until it came down.
