Yo yo, as of right now Kshatriya cant play. Our equipment is at our drummers house and his drive way is long and curvey and kinda steep and an ice skating rink. And his car door is frozen shut. If we can get all that shit worked out and if 85 re opens we could still play. This really sucks.

Unfortunatly we are not going to be able to play it. All of our equipment is at our guitarists house and he lives at the bottom of a huge icy hill. All of our cars are frozen solid. The highways are closed and the ice is only going to get worse throughout the day. If something changes we will go down, but as of now we can't play.

Well the ICEfest featured LeveL, Pitfiend, As the Seasons Grey, Organ, some band that drove over from a closed down Swayzes club and about a dozen of the hardest metal fans in ATL. The dunking booth was open and probably the highlight of the evening. How you talk chicks into bikinis and then into a giant tub of water in a club with no heat is beyond me. But they did it. 8)

We ARE currently trying to reschedule the event within the next few weeks. I will let everyone know as soon as possible.

did this thing get cancelled??? hopefully it did, it looked like close to the worse fest i have seen. like maybe 3 decent bands and 20 pure shit bands who probably have never even been to a metal show.

Well I was wondering how long before someone popped up with this bullshit. Thanks for the 2 cents.

Hey I didn't name the thing and Metalfest is a hell of a lot better than Doodoopalooza or some thing like that. Our drummer wanted to call it "If your not here you got a little dick fest". Maybe we should have went with that but the venue wanted to call it Metalfest so that is what it is called.

I've seen the comments made here on past metalfests and made an effort to book more bands like Kshatriya and the Knife Trade instead of bands like Bullhead Clap, F-Bomb and whatever the hell that acoustic thing was last year. I guess you can't please them all.

This show WILL be rescheduled very soon and all bands previously booked will be recontacted.

Didnt you book the show? If so you should have made it a requirement to be a real metal since it is a metalfest and not just another fest.
