I had to buy "Scenes From Hell" to ween myself off of "Hangmans Hymn".spice wrote:i bought this from the online sale mentioned on here, and i am really getting into it. my girlfriend says there is "way too much going on here", but it's really hit me at the right time i guess.sleyja wrote: Sigh - Scenes From Hell
Hangman's Hymn is a lot better. Scenes from Hell kind of sucks.sleyja wrote:I had to buy "Scenes From Hell" to ween myself off of "Hangmans Hymn".spice wrote:i bought this from the online sale mentioned on here, and i am really getting into it. my girlfriend says there is "way too much going on here", but it's really hit me at the right time i guess.sleyja wrote: Sigh - Scenes From Hell

It's grown on me. You are right though, it's nowhere near as good as Hangman's.Brian wrote:Hangman's Hymn is a lot better. Thanks to the oft-cited The End sale:
Ulver - Shadows of the Sun (though I end up listening to their cover of Sabbath's "Solitude" more than the rest of the album)
Ulver - Blood Inside
Karl Sanders - Saurian Exorcisms
Darkthrone - Circle the Wagons (weird but awesome -- however I hasten to add that I will uncritically, irrationally love anything this band ever does; your results may vary)

Repulsion - Horrified
Terrorizer - World Downfall
Insect Warfare - World Extermination / Carcass Grinder Split / Endless Execution Through Violent Restitution
Grinchfinger - 3" demo
The Loose Skrews - Sworn to Fun 7"
